Rachael Lever is a PhD student in the CDT in Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies at the University of Nottingham. She earned her BSc at the University of Nottingham in Pharmaceutical Sciences studying the cold-chain stability of polymer-RNA complexes. Her PhD is in the oral delivery of monolconal antibodies for the local treatment of Crohn's Disease, harnessing supramolecular nanoparticles and hydrogels for the controlled and protected drug delivery. In her spare time she is a competitive fencer, having represented Great Britain at the European and World Championships
