I am Pasquale Mastella, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the NEST Laboratory, Scuola Normale Superiore. My work focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of polymeric nanoparticles for drug delivery. I develop strategies to improve efficiency, stability, and controlled release. I integrate Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM) to study microenvironment, structural organization, and drug encapsulation, aiming to better understand nanoparticle–drug interactions and optimize performance.
