Mafalda Gonçalves, PhD, is an MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow in the BioNanoTools Group at CiQUS – USC, Spain. She earned her PhD from the University of Porto, Portugal, at i3S, where she researched the immunomodulatory potential of fibrinogen-magnesium biomaterials. Her career has spanned academic research, and startup experience. She is currently working on the development and characterization of lipid nanoparticles for macrophage immunomodulation
