PhD
Complutense university of Madrid, Spain
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Health Biology and a master’s degree in Biotechnology. I have research experience in the field of bone regeneration, where I specifically studied the role of calcium and the incorporation of bioactive glasses into nanoparticles, as well as their effects on cells, thereby expanding our understanding of the optimal conditions for regeneration. Currently, I am working on my doctoral thesis, which focuses on the treatment of osteoarthritis. My current research combines the use of nanoparticles and gene therapy to develop advanced therapeutic solutions that slow joint degeneration and promote tissue recovery.
