Dr Talia Shmool is an Imperial College Research Fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering. Her research focuses on the rational development of intelligent nanocarriers, hydrogels and ionic liquid-based delivery systems for targeted and controlled therapeutic delivery. Talia earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge in 2020. During her PhD, Talia used terahertz spectroscopy to study the structural dynamics of amorphous solid-state materials and developed approaches for engineering stable biopharmaceutical formulations.
