Mafalda Correia is a PhD student in the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra, where she also obtained her Integrated Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She was recently a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on nanotechnology-based approaches for chronic wound healing and skin regeneration.
