Sabrina Mendes, D.V.M., M.Sc., Ph.D. is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil. She earned her Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology from UFMG, focusing on translational nanomedicine, peptide pharmacology, and nanoformulations for pulmonary, oral, and intranasal delivery. Dr. Mendes is co-founder and CEO of LipidSolutions Nanoformulations Tecnologia e Inovação em Saúde, a Brazilian startup developing innovative liposomal platforms for human and veterinary applications. Her work has contributed to patented nanoencapsulation technologies and therapeutic approaches involving angiotensin-derived peptides and antiviral nanomedicines.
