Dr. Mohammed M. Mehanna, PhD, Associate Professor at the Lebanese American University, is an Egyptian pharmaceutical scientist ranked among the world’s top 2% of scientists. He has held academic leadership roles in Lebanon, Egypt, and Jordan, including Chairperson at Alexandria University, and established Lebanon’s first pharmaceutical nanotechnology laboratory. His students are now successful academicians and professionals in the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Canada, contributing significantly to pharmaceutical research, education, and industry. His research focuses on pharmaceutical nanotechnology, especially anticancer theranostics and advanced drug delivery systems, with over 50 high-impact publications in leading international journals.
