PhD student
University Federico II, Italy
Virgilio Piccolo is a second year PhD student working in the field of RNA delivery. He obtained his degree in Pharmacy at the University Federico II, where he developed a strong interest in drug delivery systems and nanomedicine. His current research focuses on the design and development of polymeric NPs for the delivery of RNA-based therapeutics, with particular emphasis on stimulus-responsive and targeted nanocarriers for cancer therapy. Through his work, he aims to improve the stability, targeting efficiency, and therapeutic performance of nucleic acid delivery platforms.
