Katie Ollerton is a final year PhD student at the University of Liverpool and holds an industrial fellowship with the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851. She specialises in transdermal drug delivery, designing innovative nanoformulated drug methods for targeted therapies. Within the Radio Materials Laboratory at Liverpool, she uses radiometrics to determine transdermal delivery profiles of both active pharmaceutical ingredients and personal care actives, and understand how modifying the formulation can impact the deposition and penetration.
