My name is Shuai Hu, a PhD candidate in the Department of Biomaterials and Biomedical Technology at the University Medical Center Groningen, University of Groningen, The Netherlands, under the supervision of Prof. Shahbazi and Prof. Santos. My doctoral research focuses on designing advanced transdermal drug delivery systems. My research topics include nanoparticle design, interfacial polymer self-assembly, and the long-acting microneedle patches to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of pharmaceutical agents.
