Ruben Valente is a PhD Student in Biotechnology at NOVA School of Science and Technology. Ruben holds a BSc in Biochemistry and a MSc in Biotechnology from NOVA School of Science and Technology. His research focuses on the use of gold nanoparticles for the development of novel therapeutic strategies against aggressive cancers, namely pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, using advanced 3D tumor models to better reproduce the tumor microenvironment.
