Manisha Sharma is a Senior Lecturer (above the bar) at the School of Pharmacy, University of Auckland, New Zealand. She pursued her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India.
Manisha’s translational research is focused on improving patient outcomes through drug delivery science, and diagnostic method development. Her research interest lies in controlled and sustained drug delivery, with a special focus on stimuli-responsive injectable depot systems, microneedles, and nanocarrier-based delivery systems.
Manisha is the current Prresident of the New Zealand, Local Chapter of Controlled Release Society.
