Ms. Rita Bifano, a graduate in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, is currently a second year PhD student in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Naples Federico II (IT). Her research is focused on the development of lipid-based nanoparticle systems for cancer therapy, with a particular interest in TNBC. Prior to her doctoral studies, she was awarded a scholarship in the same Department, working on lipid-based self-assembling nanoparticles for the development of innovative miRNA-based targeted formulations against metastatic melanoma in the group of Prof. Giuseppe De Rosa.
