Sheng Bi is a PhD candidate in the School of Pharmacy at Queen’s University Belfast. His research focuses on microneedle-based transdermal drug delivery systems, with particular emphasis on the development of dissolving microneedles for the transdermal delivery of memantine. His work aims to improve drug delivery efficiency, enhance patient compliance, and explore innovative minimally invasive approaches for the treatment of neurological disorders through advanced pharmaceutical formulation and characterisation.
