Diana C. Silva has a PhD 2020 focused on biomaterials and biotribology. She specialised in hydrogels for drug delivery and on their extensive physical-chemical characterisation and biological evaluation. She collaborates with USC (Spain), Uni. Strasbourg (France) and clinicians for in vivo studies. With a portfolio of >20 high-impact peer-reviewed publications since earning a PhD five years ago she has established a transformative research trajectory centred on the rational design of advanced polymeric matrices.
