Banu Iyisan is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Bogazici University and founder of the Biofunctional Nanomaterials Design (BIND) Laboratory. Her research focuses on the design and development of smart nanocarrier systems for biomedical applications. She leads a Max Planck Partner Group in Turkey and received the L’Oréal-UNESCO Türkiye For Women in Science Award in 2025.
