Dr. Hyo Jin Kim is a Professor in the Department of International Agricultural Technology (Program in Food Technology) at Seoul National University. His research focuses on microbial engineering, probiotics, and the development of engineered bacterial platforms for oral delivery. He applies metabolic engineering approaches to develop functional nutrabiotics for kidney and metabolic diseases, with the goal of translating advances in food science into therapeutic applications.
