Ian Oesterle has a PhD in chemistry, and is currently a scientist at the BioEngineering and Organoids Technology platform at EPFL with a focus on microfluidic, automation, and data analysis pipelines for biotech applications. He is developing a microfluidic and downstream processes for mRNA and gene delivery systems, with a focus on scalable LNP manufacturing, in-line analytics, and targeted nanoparticle functionalization.
