The increasing demand for nanoparticles-based drug delivery requires the sustainable, greener and scalable manufacturing process [1]. Conventional processes are mostly time consuming, require high energy and mostly require additional solvent removing steps. In addition, scaling up these processes is very difficult [2]. In this work, we present a spinning disc system (SDS) for the preparation of nanoparticles (NP) that overcomes above-mentioned limitations and provides reproducible NP with desired critical quality attributes. Furthermore, applying sustainable polymers like Acetalated Maltodextrin (Ac-MD) to this continuous one - pot process makes the process even greener [3].
