The clinical application of therapeutic peptides is often hampered by their short half-life and the need for frequent injections (1). This study aims to develop a novel, hydrophilic organic solvent-free in situ forming gel (ISG) for sustained peptide delivery. The system utilizes a phospholipid/ethyl oleate (EO) formulation designed to undergo a unique, water-triggered sol-gel transition upon subcutaneous injection, forming a stable depot.
