Introduction: The transdermal drug delivery system provides a non-invasive administration route with easy operation and high bioactivity. Microneedles (MNs) are a promising device for enhancing delivery efficiency through robust skin. To reduce side effects and achieve personalized drug delivery, a controllable manner is preferred [1]. In our devised delivery system, the hollow MNs were designed, which can be triggered through mechanical action.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to conduct 3D printing fabrication and transdermal drug delivery study.
