Synergistic transarterial electronanotherapy for unresectable hepatic cancer treatment

Unresectable hepatic cancer poses significant therapeutic challenges because of its anatomical complexity and inherent resistance to conventional chemotherapeutics. Here, a new conceptual therapeutic approach for unresectable hepatic cancer is proposed, termed transarterial electronanotherapy, which combines irreversible electroporation (IRE) with transarterial injection of platinum (IV)-complexed electroconductive nanoparticles (Pt/P-Dopa NPs).
