Wound infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria severely impede the healing process [1]. Effective wound healing therapies therefore demand drug delivery systems that offer sustained and localized release. This study presents the development of electrospun polymer fibers that are in situ cross-linked to enhance stability and control drug release kinetics. These fibers incorporate flame spray pyrolysis (FSP)-made inorganic nanoparticles alongside lipid nanoparticles, or drugs for sustained and stimuli-responsive delivery.
