Zilu is a PhD student in pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Toronto supervised by Prof. Christine Allen. Her research focuses on the design and optimization of PEGylated liposomal drug delivery systems for challenging small-molecule therapeutics, with an emphasis on rapamycin delivery for rare vascular sarcomas. Her work integrates formulation development, physicochemical characterization, and preclinical in vivo evaluation to improve pharmacokinetics, therapeutic efficacy, and translational potential.
