Jorge Ruz Ortega studied Chemistry at the University of Granada, where he gained research experience at CIDAF, a biotechnology R&D center. He then moved to Santiago de Compostela for a Master’s in Drug R&D and joined María José Alonso’s Lab. Currently, supported by a Ramón Areces fellowship, he is pursuing his PhD on protein corona formation using AF4 and the analytical characterization of nanocarriers. He is also conducting a research stay at IMDEA Nanociencia, focused on the development of hybrid EV–NC systems to enhance brain delivery.
