Joana Cristóvão joined Hovione in 2019 and currently leads a team of Lead Analytical Scientists in R&D, responsible for defining analytical strategies for projects in clinical development. She holds a PhD in Structural Biochemistry from FCUL-UNL and has held research positions in academia and at Hovione. Since joining Hovione, Joana has actively researched on analytical characterization of drug product and formulation development of biopharmaceuticals.
