Dr. Roberta Cillari is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Palermo, supported by Fondazione Umberto Veronesi through FUV postdoctoral fellowships (2025–2026). She holds a Master’s degree in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologies and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Biomolecular Sciences. Her research focuses on the design of multifunctional nanosystems for precision oncology, with particular emphasis on carbon nanodot–based theranostic platforms for multi-mode imaging, stimuli-responsive drug delivery, and advanced breast cancer therapy.
