ByungDeok Kim, B.Pharm., is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Pharmacy at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Zhejiang University, China. His research focuses on immune engineering and the design of advanced immunomodulatory nanoplatforms to regulate the tumor microenvironment. Specifically, he develops systemic delivery systems that reprogram immunosuppressive environments and enhance the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy.
