Elissar Ibraheem is a Ph.D. student enrolled in the direct Ph.D. track in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Shady Farah (www.TheFarahLab.com). Her research focuses on crystal-based drug delivery systems, including protein crystals, drug crystals, and multifunctional crystalline platforms for controlled and targeted therapeutic delivery. Elissar completed her B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with excellence at the Technion.
