I have conducted microneedle research for nearly 30 years and have published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers. My work centers on developing diverse microneedle formats and platform technologies for transdermal drug delivery and skin vaccination, with a strong emphasis on solid-state formulation development to enhance stability and practical use. I also investigate pharmacokinetic and immunokinetic profiles after skin administration to guide design and translation. I am a professor at Gachon University and CTO of QuadMedicine.
