Antibiotic resistance(AMR) is one of the most pressing global health challenges of our time, and I have dedicated my PhD research to developing nanomedicine-based solutions to address it.
I am a PhD researcher at the University of Helsinki, specialising in nanomedicine and biofilm therapeutics. My work focuses on engineering nanoliposomal drug delivery systems and exploring combination strategies, including photodynamic therapy, photothermal therapy, antibiotic combinations, and phage therapy against drug-resistant biofilm infections.
My technical expertise spans the pipeline from formulation to evaluation: nanoparticle formulation & physicochemical characterisation, in vitro cell culture assays and biofilm model development, data analysis with peer-reviewed publications.
