Diletta Mandrioli is a PhD student in Drug Sciences at the University of Parma in the group of Prof. Francesca Buttini. Her projects was focused on the developement of spray-dried inhalable powders for chronic cough treatment, using polymers/proteins as excipients in the formulation to sustain drug release. Powder production was followed by in vitro characterisation and in vivo anti-cough efficacy assessment using a guinea pig model of cough.
She is currently a PhD visiting student at Ghent University working on siRNA-LNP formulations for inhalation therapies.
