Gaeun Ma is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in nanobiopharmaceutical sciences and oral drug delivery systems. Her research focuses on supramolecular self-assembly and transporter-mediated uptake strategies to improve the bioavailability of peptide therapeutics, including GLP-1 receptor agonists. She develops biohybrid nanocomplexes that integrate functional biomaterials with metabolic pathway modulation, aiming to translate nanomedicine platforms into clinically applicable therapies for metabolic and inflammatory diseases.
