Rama Hassoun, MPharm, RSCi, is a third-year PhD candidate at the UCL School of Pharmacy. She graduated with First-Class Honours, ranking first in the Faculty of Life Sciences, and qualified as a GPhC-registered pharmacist in 2023. She is currently undertaking a fully funded PhD within the UCL CDT in Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies. Her research focuses on developing long-acting injectable nanomedicines for targeted chemotherapy using antibody-conjugated polymeric nanoparticles, encompassing nanoparticle fabrication, antibody conjugation and analytical validation, with ongoing work in functional evaluation, novel target identification, and in-vivo biodistribution studies.
