Maria Vitória Bentley is a Full Professor of Pharmaceutics at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (USP). She is the PI and leads a research group (named NanoGeneSkin) focused on nanotechnology and advanced drug delivery systems. With over 150 peer-reviewed papers, she is a leading expert in developing innovative nanocarriers, such as liquid crystals and liposomes, to overcome biological barriers for gene therapy and the treatment of skin and systemic diseases.
