Ivana Jarak dedicates her research efforts to the design and synthesis of complex nanosystems for delivery of therapeutic molecules by applying expertise in synthetic organic and macromolecular chemistry. Apart from the development of drug delivery formulations, she is applying nanometabolomics in elucidation of the biological effects of nanocarriers and their possible influence on the therapeutic activity of their load.
