Ana González Paredes, PhD in Pharmacy, has specialized in advanced drug delivery systems, working across academia and industry, including four years leading an R&D department. She is currently a tenured scientist at the Institute of Medicinal Chemistry (IQM-CSIC, Spain), where she leads research on nanoparticle-based strategies to combat antibiotic-resistant bacteria. She is PI and coordinator of Nano2FILM project, a multidisciplinary consortium funded by ERA4Health-NANOTECMEC 2024 that involves experts from academic, clinical, and industrial sectors across four nations. Moreover, she is also PI in AMR CSIC Hub. She has different ongoing collaborations at national and international level.
