AI-Driven Development of Oral and Long-Acting GLP-1 Prodrug Constructs for Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity Treatment:

Introduction:

Jenetech Informatics proposes to develop a novel AI/ML-enabled prodrug delivery platform (JEL™ Prodrug System) for glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA), addressing key limitations in Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) and obesity therapies. The JEL™ technology enables controlled oral and injectable delivery of peptides, providing a once-daily oral or once-monthly injectable treatment option.



The innovation leverages AI-guided linker design, biodegradable nanocarrier systems, and plant-based recombinant synthesis to improve pharmacokinetics, patient compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
