Renal fibrosis is a common pathological pathway underlying the progression of chronic kidney disease to renal failure; however, effective therapies remain unavailable. Antibody therapeutics have emerged as a promising treatment modality, with structures differing in size and Fc-region presence and distinct pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution. Because disease progression may further alter these characteristics, we compared multiple antibody formats across different fibrosis stages to guide delivery design for fibrotic kidneys.
