Introduction:

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is among the most lethal and prevalent malignancies worldwide (1). Current treatments are limited by adverse effects, drug resistance, metastasis, and recurrence (2). Flavonoids, a class of natural compounds that includes quercetin, have demonstrated anticancer effects and are potential new treatments (3). However, their therapeutic use is hindered by instability and low bioavailability (4). Thus, this study aimed to overcome these limitations by developing an oral flavonoid nanodelivery system based on PLGA using a microfluidic approach.
