Poor aqueous solubility remains a major limitation in oral delivery of many drugs, including esomeprazole magnesium (ESM). Conventional amorphous formulations often rely on organic solvents and batch processes, presenting challenges in scalability, residual solvent control, and environmental sustainability. Supercritical fluid technologies offer a green alternative enabling precise particle engineering with minimal solvent use.
