Polymeric particulate systems are extensively employed in drug delivery to enhance the stability of APIs and to achieve controlled release profiles. However, many conventional particle-manufacturing techniques require elevated processing temperatures, which restrict their applicability to thermolabile APIs and excipients. Electronebulization [1] is a high-throughput, high-voltage–driven particle-engineering platform that operates near ambient temperature and enables production at kilogram-per-hour scale. This technology facilitates the processing of a broad spectrum of APIs, including temperature-sensitive compounds, for advanced drug-delivery applications.
